Durham Wildlife Trust: Winter Woodland Experience at Rainton Meadows

We want to invite you to step into our winter woodlands and meadows at Rainton Meadows Nature Reserve. Explore Rainton Meadows and discover some of the key signs of the wildlife inhabiting our woodlands and warm yourself around the campfire, then try your hand at some simple woodland skills.

To be aware:

This event will be outdoors so please wear warm clothes appropriate to the time of year with appropriate sturdy footwear. Part of the terrain is uneven. The group will be split into two groups. One group will have a guided walk around Rainton Meadows with our Living Landscape Officer whilst the other group will do the interactive woodland activities with our Education Officer.
